The short version
- My tag is Self-Managed: every name under it is registered to me.
- I register no .UK names for other people, and there is nothing here to buy.
- No prices are published, and reading this page forms no contract.
- A .UK name is not property. I am recorded against one for a term, and that is all.
- Abuse reports reach a person and are acted on.
- Nominet’s own rules apply above all of this.
This summary is for convenience. The full clauses below are what count.
Who this is
This website is published by Ruslan Kasyanov trading as CLEANDROP (“the Registrar”, “I”, “me”), of Sadova St. 20, Sheludkivka village, Chuhuiv District, Kharkiv Region, 63440, Ukraine, who holds the Nominet tag VELOXIS. I administer every .UK name described here and I answer the addresses on the Contact page myself.
I am not Nominet and I do not act on Nominet’s behalf.
Registrar status
The tag is held under Nominet’s Registry-Registrar Agreement and is classified as Self-Managed. That is Nominet’s category for registrars who hold and manage their own names rather than registering them for retail customers, and only one tag of that type is permitted per registrar.
It is a contractual status and nothing beyond that. Nominet does not endorse, approve or recommend me; nothing written here speaks for Nominet or carries its authority; and I act as nobody else’s registrar.
What is not offered here
- I do not register, renew, edit, transfer or administer any .UK name on behalf of another person or organisation.
- There are no customer accounts, no control panel and no order form, and nobody is invited to move a name onto my tag so that I can look after it for them.
- Nothing on this site is for sale, so no charges are published. None of it is an offer that could be accepted, and reading it starts no contract.
Nominet publishes a list of the registrars who do take that work, and any of them can help.
The names on this tag
Every .UK name referred to here is registered to me and kept for work of my own. Each registration runs for 1 year from the day the entry is created.
Property is not what a .UK name is: the register holds entries, not possessions. A registration gives the registrant the right to be recorded against the name for the registration period, under Nominet’s Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration. They hold me to the same line as every other registrant.
Names registered to anyone else
There are none, and taking them on is not offered. Nominet caps the possibility regardless: on a Self-Managed tag any name standing in somebody else’s name is capped at 50 names or 5% of the tag, whichever is smaller.
Were one ever filed, everything owed to that registrant would be owed in full: notice of Nominet’s terms, an expiry notice well before the date, renewal only on instruction, and a free move to another registrar on request. They are set out item by item, with the timings, on the Renewal and Expiry page.
Registrant details and the registry's checks
The details filed under this tag are kept accurate because the registry checks them. Nominet validates every registrant name and address against sources of its own, at registration and whenever those details change.
Where the check fails Nominet may write for a document: something carrying a photograph, or a bill with the address on it. The window is 30 days. A name left unconfirmed past it is suspended, and a suspended name can be neither renewed nor moved. That applies to me as to any registrant, which is why the postal address on the Contact page is a real one.
Renewal and expiry
Renewal is a decision I take name by name, ahead of the expiry date, on what the name is still being used for. Nothing is set to pay itself, and no card details sit anywhere.
A name I no longer need is simply not renewed, and it then runs through the registry’s stages until it is deleted. The Renewal and Expiry page sets out those stages day by day, together with what changes on 9 February 2027.
Abuse and complaints
Reports of phishing, malware, spam, fraud or other misuse of a name held under tag VELOXIS go to the address on the Report abuse page, which states how quickly a report is acknowledged and what follows. Because the registrar and the registrant are one person, there is no account holder to notify and no third party to pass a report to.
Complaints about me or about this website go to the address on the Complaints page, which carries both timings in writing. A complaint may go to Nominet at any point, without waiting for my process to finish.
Nominet’s rules come first
.UK names are governed by Nominet’s published .UK policies: how a name may be registered, how registrant details are checked, and how an argument over a name is settled. Where anything in these terms conflicts with those rules, the rules win and these terms give way.
Accuracy and liability
What is published here is given in good faith and may change without notice. Registry rules change in particular: Nominet has fixed 9 February 2027 as the day .UK standardisation takes effect, and I rewrite these pages to the new rules then.
I accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on anything published on this site, save in those cases the law refuses to let anyone exclude. The text, layout and design of the site are mine, except where third-party material appears under licence; none of that extends to the domain names, which are registrations rather than property.
Changes, law and contact
- If I update these Terms, I publish the new version on this page with a new version number and keep the previous wording so the two can be compared. This is version 1.0.
- These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
- Questions: [email protected] or +380 99 896 4650. Complaints follow the procedure under Complaints. Abuse reports go to [email protected]. Personal data is handled as explained under Privacy.
